CALGARY
Project sits within a low-density inner city Calgary neighbourhood and sought to sensitively maximize density with 65 units on a compact site with no lane. Emphasis on livable units and efficient floorplates within the context of a transit-oriented community, which also allowed for parking reductions within a walkable, amenity rich community.

This study looked at sensitively maximizing density within an existing community in a transit-oriented zone. Project maximized site by creating two buildings, stepping down towards established neighbourhoods. Outcomes were maximized by orienting parking under building footprints, centralizing amenity space, and sensitively maximizing FAR within a mid-rise context.

CALGARY
Study examined highest and best use of a 37,000sf site in a growing subnode, seeking to maximize density with fixed parking requirements and high sustainability, accessibility, and family-oriented unit goals. The solution centered around maximising parking in a single tray underground with a 6-storey project above stepping down to adjacent neighbours, and providing family-oriented townhome units. ROI maximized by focusing on efficient units and intelligent amenity allocation for residents.
